Brokeback Mountain - Two Thumbs Down

I know everybody liked it, I know it won 3 Oscars, I agree that the picture is beautifully captured and that the acting is very good. I also think it does a good job at portraying how strong the love is (bewteen the coyboys), but nonetheless, I thought it was slow, there have been other films about gay love and the hardships that impressed me more than this one did. I wouldn't watch it again.

The Departed - Two Thumbs Up

Kept me on my toes the whole two and a half hours. It's a bad guy, good guy story with exciting twists, fast-paced dialog and a predominantly (hot) male cast. I liked it. It wont get an Oscar but it was well worth my ten bucks and I wouldn't mind owning it when it's released on to DVD.
